Pierce: ...Become like a dream, my mind's scene... ::He stands up from the Basement steps and sets the candle in his hands on the stairs as the basement suddenly transforms in light into a grassy forest:: Pierce: Ah...much better...::He walks forward and steps onto a fallen tree, standing up and smiling as the forest moves with the wind and the light in the entire area causes everything to glow:: Pierce: ::He sits down against the trunk and closes his eyes:: Ah...nice and quiet. Everybody's out, I'm the only one here, yeah... ::He takes another breath in:: Pace: He appears through smoke and walks quickly to Pierce:: Okay, we need to get back to the Manor..PRONTO! Pierce: ::He sighs and opens his eyes, looking up:: Damn Pace, way to ruin my moment... ::He takes a breath in, looking around, and blows out---a sudden breeze sweeping past them---and instantly as the candle blows out, the forest turns back into the basement:: Gotta love concrete walls... Pierce: ::He stands up and picks up the candle as he walks up the steps into the kitchen:: How am I supposed to train my powers and spellcraft if you keep interrupting my meditation? How come? ::He grabs a glass from the cabinet and walks to the refrigerator, placing the glass in the door shelf as it fills with water:: Pace:: Well, she says that Billie has been missing for several days. I told her that Billie can take care of herself, but she insists that since we are..basically, her only family..she wants us to try and scry for her. Pace:: I can't even orb..I have to like make potions to teleport me. I could just - say a spell so that I can have teleportation..you know but, in a temp kind of way. Pierce: Right...says the guy with telepathy...::He turns and closes the basement door behind him:: Pace: He smiles and turns to walk into the Conversatory:: He sits down and takes hold of the crystal:: He holds it over the map and begins to spin it around:: Price:: He walks into the Manor and takes off his jacket:: He puts his jacket on the rack:: YO! :: He waits for an answer as he walks down the hallway looking through the rooms:: He stops as he sees Pace:: He walks into the Conversatory room and stands besides Pace::...And what are you doing? Pace:: Scrying.. Price:: Why? Pace:: Because Oxy sent a message saying that Billie has been missing for several days. Pierce: ::He sighs and stands up from sitting in the center of the center blue mat in the basement, yelling aloud:: Yes Price, I'm here...at home...your home...where everyone is supposed to be out for the morning. Price:: He turns quickly as he hears Pierce's voice from the kitchen:: He walks into the kitchen and walks to the basement door:: He opens the door and walks down the stairs:: Hm..what are you doing? Pierce: Trying to meditate so I can sense better. It really hasn't been what it used to be for a long time now...so I thought I'd meditate like I used to. Pace came in earlier and says that Billie went missing says Oxy, so Pace went to scroll for her--I'm going with him when he's done... Price:: Yeah, he informed me about that..I don't think he's here. I heard a big 'poof', either he broke something or he just teleported somewhere. Pierce: ...That's just great. Should we go after him to help out? Despite his psychic abilities, he still feels like he's vulnerable...just like the ol' days. Price:: He should be fine..he has active powers. Pierce: ::He sits back down:: Tell him that. What are you doing home today? You and I can't keep spending weeks at work--weeks away from work--days off--all that. ...Well, at least I think we shouldn't. Price:: So, are you going to ask or do I have to spill it all out? Pierce: ::He sighs, looking around hesitantly:: ...I'm not going to get to meditate today am I? Price:: Bro, I've been gone for about...I don't know, a month and a half and nobody wants to know what happened? -- Well I haven't been gone completely..just you know, orbed in and out but -- okay, you don't seem interested. Pierce: ---My sensing has been off, and I do have a life of my own for your information...AND...I don't live here? Price:: I thought you were moving back in, you know to help with the whole "becoming one" thing. Pierce: I never said that... Price:: Well, okay did Pace at least move back in? Pierce: ...I don't live here, and I don't live at Pace's, but...it doesn't take my sensing power to know Nina's wound up with him... Price:: Yeah, that still didn't answer my question but thanks for trying. Pierce: Price, I don't think so. Do you want to go after him? Price:: No, I have to get back to New York anyway..:: He looks at his watch:: -- and I have ten minutes to do so. How's Isaac? Pierce: New York? ::He looks down at his watch:: Price, do you want to go after Pace or not? Isaac's fine--I can go check on him if you want. He pretty much takes care of himself, bro. I'm gonna...go check on Isaac, look for Pace, and at some point...work on meditating... ::He turns back and walks up the stairs:: Price:: Okay, I'll just go back to the Big Apple. :: He smiles as he orbs away:: Pierce: ::He turns back at the top of the stairway and sighs, looking around at the empty sitting room, he turns back and wipes his face as he makes his way towards Isaac's room:: Pace:: He appears out of the smoke and looks around:: Billie? :: A Demon shimmers in front of Pace:: Demon:: Leave, now. Pace:: I will..after I find my cousin, you see she's missing. Demon:: He forms an energy ball:: Pace:: He looks at the energy ball:: You see, that isn't very neccessary. Demon:: He throws the energy ball at Pace:: Pace:: He levitates into the air and lands once the energy ball passes:: He reaches into his pocket and throws a potion at the Demon:: Demon:: He gets hit and stumbles back:: NOO!! :: He screams in agony as he goes on fire and blows up:: Pace:: He begins to walk slowly as he looks around:: Billie? Billie are you here? :: Four more Demons shimmer in and surround Pace:: Pace:: Great.. :: The Demons create energy balls and throw them at Pace at once:: Pace:: He focuses as his mind shield appears, protecting him:: He looks at the Demon and pushes forward as the shield pushes out:: It contacts with the Demons and blow them up quickly:: :: Another Demon shimmers in:: Pace:: Okay, this is just going out of control! :: He glares at the Demon and throws a potion before it can even lift a finger:: He watches the Demon blow up:: He turns around quickly as someone begins to walk towards him:: I'm going to advise you to stop now because I've got a pocket full of potions. Billie:: She walks out from the shadows:: Long time no see.. Pace:: You're okay! :: He walks over to her quickly:: I need to get you out of here, there are way too many Demons. Billie:: I know.. Pace:: He looks around slowly:: He turns around in a circle and looks back to Billie:: Just because you have a floor filled with Demons, who are invisible, just waiting for you to say the word so they can come out and try and vanquish me..doesn't mean you have an army. Billie:: Hmm..you didn't sense enough...try fourteen floors filled with invisible Demons just waiting for my word. Pace:: This isn't you.. Billie:: You're right, I've improved. Pace:: He takes out a potion and throws it on the floor:: Billie:: She watches him vanish as smoke appears:: Demons.. :: They all become visible:: Billie:: I know the brothers and how they act and react. Before midnight they will come for me, to try and cure me. They are too blind to see that a cure isn't needed when one is not in need to be cured. They will come and take the battle to us. We will not let that happen. :: A man walks out of the shadows and stands besides Billie:: Billie:: She looks over to the man and looks back to the Demons:: We will take the battle to them and kill them..everyone that is in that house. Drex:: He looks down at Billie and looks to the Demons:: That includes the children.. Billie:: She smiles as she takes his hand and disappears with him into the shadows:: Ethan: ::He walks up to the front door quickly and knocks on the door, ringing the bell, then knocking again:: Pierce: ::He looks up from scrying in the living room and closes his eyes, focusing:: ::The front doors open:: Ethan: ::He walks into the Manor as the doors close behind him, turning as he sees Pierce at the coffee table:: We've got a problem. Pierce: ::He turns and runs up the stairs:: ::Ethan stands by the couch, staring across the room at a fatigued-looking Nick tied up to a chair, surrounded by crystals and a circle of dust:: Pierce: ::He rushes in, stopping and eyeing Ethan as he crosses quickly and places the Book on the podium:: Ethan: Pierce...what's the meaning of this? Pierce: ---That's the body of-- Ethan: I KNOW WHO THAT IS! Pierce: Wait---he was just the vessel---::He turns to Nick, then back to Ethan:: There's no human mind or conscience in there...he's like someone in comatose but he's conscious. Ethan: ...::He balls his fists, then looks over to Pierce:: He...was working with...::He grinds his teeth:: ...The woman who wove me into all of my worries. As long as he is alive he's a threat to me. Pierce: Our enemy isn't in him any longer-- Ethan: ::He turns and grasps the podium:: Then don't use him as a guenia pig! Kill him, we have too much to worry about Pierce! Pierce: ::He takes a step away from Ethan, looking over to Ethan:: ...Do I...need to call my brothers? Ethan: No---No, ::He turns suddenly and stares at Nick, taking his wand out as it enlarges to a staff with a glowing orb on top:: Pierce: Ethan--- Ethan: I'll handle this on my own! Pierce: Ethan! ::He squints his eyes and a force deflects from Ethan, dissipating:: Ethan: Don't try to stop me... ::The body of Nick glances upwards, his eyes fogged over and his skin pale:: Pierce: Ethan---you just said I can help you. What's your problem? Let me help you... Ethan: ::He holds his staff outwards and it's light glows to a blinding force:: Pierce: This has gone out of hand---::He raises his hands, his hands absorbing all of the light from Ethan's staff--:: BARESCY POWDER! ::He focuses as part of the powder on the floor flies through the air and blows directly at Ethan---all while still maintaining the circle around Nick:: ::The powder hits Ethan and knocks him back, his staff flying away from him:: Ethan: ::He flies back and hits the floor, seeing his staff fly towards the Book Of Shadows:: No! Pierce: ::He turns as he feels his hands burning---they are glowing with light, until it feels as if his skin will burn...he turns to see the staff about to hit the Book-----:: Staff! ::The staff disappears in a sudden burst of light and appears in Pierce's hands:: Ethan: ::He looks to Pierce---seeing the Staff begin to blacken and burn at Pierce's fingertips:: Pierce: ::He grunts as the Staff burns his hands----he looks over to Ethan and tries to let go but can't---:: Ethan: ::He scrambles to his feet and launches forward to help take the staff from him:: ::The lights in the Attic glow and flash as the windows around the room rumble with the winds from the outside hitting them:: Ethan: ::He reaches forward to take the Staff but phases through, falling through Pierce and hitting the wooden boards:: Pierce: ::He takes a final breath in as his eyes glow with light----his hands bursting of energy---and the Staff detiorates and shatters into dust-----his hands suddenly healing and his body now beginning to glow:: Ethan: ::He looks upwards towards Pierce, then looks to Nick---seeing him begin to stir:: Pierce: ::He looks over to Nick---his eyes glowing of light where his pupils should be:: As you were... ::Nick falls forward into the ropes as he falls unconscious:: Pierce: ::He turns back to Ethan on the ground, raising his hands at him:: Ethan: ::He pushes himself away from Pierce, trying to stand up but having trouble standing:: Pi--Pierce, let go of the magic--- Witches aren't supposed to have Wizards' magic! Pierce: ::His arms expand:: Ethan: Pierce---it's too much for you to handle---even you---it isn't compatible---let it go! ::He tries to stand up again:: Pierce: ...Betrayer...::His mouth glows of light as he speaks---his voice now whispy as the windows crash inwards as winds fill the room:: Ethan: ::He looks towards the Book Of Shadows, then turns back to Pierce---raising his hands as if to spell something in the air---but nothing happens:: Pierce: BETRAYER! ::Pierce glows as a burst of light forms between his hands and shoots out at Ethan:: Ethan: ::He launches away and grabs onto the Book of Shadows---the burst deflecting from the Book's force field:: ::The blast of light flies back and hits Pierce directly in the chest:: Pierce: ::He shouts out as he falls back, hitting the floor as a train of electricity of light in the form of his body appears where he was---dissipating directly afterwards:: Ethan: ::He stares at Pierce once again---then looks around the room, realizing the powder and crystals surrounding Nick have blown around---and that Nick has disappeared:: Pace:: He appears as the smoke vanishes:: He looks around and looks up :: No..:: He runs out of the room and to the staircase:: He runs up the stairs and runs through the second floor:: He reaches the attic staircase and stops:: He looks up and slowly walks up the stairs and opens the door slowly:: He looks around and notices that Nick isn't there:: Ethan: ::He tends over Pierce, and looks up to Pace in a fright:: Pace... Price:: Fine..:: He places his hand on Pierce's forehead:: He closes his eyes as his hand begins to glow:: Pace:: He watches as Pierce glows black:: Price:: He stumbles back as he opens his eyes:: He looks at his hand as his hand glows black:: He turns quickly and throws his hand towards the window as black orbs shoot out from his hand and towards the window:: Pace:: Destroy it.. Price:: He throws his hands and blows up the black orbs:: Pierce: ::He gasps as his chest fills with air---his skin shining for a moment as he returns to normal, only to fall back against the chair again--breathing quickly for air:: Price:: Hey, you okay? Price:: This is just one crazy day..so we need a plan. Pace:: Pierce and I will work on a sleeping potion, just in case he is consious. Price, try and scry for him or Billie.. Because they aren't the same type of magick. It's like transplanting magic into the other where it shouldn't be because there is no room, so to control it, you took it all in, which forced your evil side to help out---and when you got hit with your own energy it short circuited you... But I had no clue you could even absorb my magic...any type of magic...I mean...I always knew you were powerful---but not...powerful enough to absorb my wand's magic, destroy it, and use it against me... Pierce: I guess all of my training's been working after all? ::He turns back to the stairs:: Price! Pace! ::He turns back to Ethan:: When will my powers come back? Ethan: ...Well...I'm assuming Price absorbed the energy out of you, so only time will tell until you have enough strength to use your powers again... Pace:: He walks into the living room with Price:: He looks at Ethan:: Pierce: ::He sighs, then stands up:: I'll work it out---now, tell me what you were so worried about. Ethan: ::He swallows as he looks from Pierce to Pace and takes a step back:: Well right now since you incinerated my wand and disabled my powers I'm worried about your brother. Pierce: Tell us everything Ethan...and then take a shower, we'll add some crystals, and the powder should wear off. Ethan: ::He folds his arms against his chest and looks away, then back again:: ...Right before I married Carly...well after Rachel passed...and the community began controlling the Demon population...I began feeling the scales tipping for Good...but because of that, I knew that things would need to balance out...or so I believed... Ethan: Well during my Honeymoon I sensed something off--so I came back here--- Pierce: Nick? Ethan: Well that was my first thought. When you caught me at work again, I was investigating what the upsurge was...and when you told me about Nick, I figured things were fixed again... I had just begun tracing a warlock but by the time I knew enough to vanquish him, someone else beat me to the chase. Well a few months ago, there was a thunderstorm and I thought I saw Rachel in the rain's reflection---I passed it off as my mind fooling me, or maybe she found a way to simply let me know things were okay---well some time ago, I saw Billie suddenly as well... Ethan: I thought Billie came to save everyone---to use the Elements to fix things...like maybe she had come back to San Francisco because everything seemed to eminate back here... Pierce: Well? Ethan: ::He swallows as he looks over to Pace:: Billie's changed. And I don't know why... Pace:: Yeah...that's the truth.. Ethan: She appeared to me---well she looked like she always looked, a little more mature I suppose---but Good nonetheless. She seemed freaked out but wouldn't tell me why. And I didn't really know her well, as you guys know, but I guess for whatever reason I was the only person she thought she could go to who could help her... Price:: So you decide to tell us this now.. Ethan: ...Well it seemed like just as she showed up she disappeared again...she didn't want you guys to know obviously...and a little over a week ago, I felt another one of those shifts...and then I felt another one earlier today---which is why I came here. Whatever happened, Billie's the cause of it. And I feel as if she gave into Evil---because what I'm feeling isn't good. Pace:: He looks to Pierce:: When I went to try and "save" her, she was protected by Demons. There had to have been at least a hundred of them on that one floor..she said they were on each floor. I also sensed a man, but his powers were secretive..I think that man has done something to her, brainwashed her or something. Pierce: ...Ethan, you said you saw Rachel that night a few months ago? ...I think it was the same night I saw her---the day after a Demon came and tried to kill us by pushing us into our past selves...maybe she was trying to warn us...maybe this secretive Demon is behind it all. Working with that thing that was Nick perhaps? Price:: If Billie has turned completely evil, she could easily destroy us..she knows how we work things out, our weaknesses, she knows what we will and would do next. Pierce: ...And I doubt anyone in the magical community will want to help us out on this one... Pace:: Who would want to go up against a powerful woman who has an army of Demons and numerous abilities? Price:: We would.. Pace:: What if we can't turn her back to good, what if she stays evil?
