Price:: He walks through the sun room through the crowded home. The house is filled with friends and family of Rachel and the brothers:: He walks into the kitchen and places down an empty tray:: Price:: God, I didn't know how many friends and family she had. Pierce: ::He walks over to his brother, after just speaking to Rachel's mother:: Can you believe her mother came? Showed her face? I suppose she had to...but come on, she put Rachel through hell as a teenager... Pace:: He looks to Pierce:: Dude, that's still her daughter. Pierce: If your mother was abusive and drunk, would you still expect her to care about you? ::They slowly proceed towards to the dining room:: Pierce: ::He sighs and looks around to all of the people; he glances to see Carly and Ethan talking to some of Rachel's friends and family:: Price:: Well, if she was drunk she must've been abusive and when you're drunk you tend to care not what you're doing. Billie:: Yea...I--I thought I saw something. :: She turns and walks into the Manor:: Price:: He looks around and walks into the Manor:: He walks into the sitting room and sits down on the couch next to Pace:: He looks over to Pierce:: She's been acting weird. Pierce: I know... ::He leans against the side of the couch and stares off:: Pace:: Sorry to kill the moment but I miss the Demons... Price:: He looks over to Pace:: Yea, me too. Pierce: ::He blinks his eyes and looks over to them:: You miss Demons attacking us? I'd say we'd done a good job at killing a lot of Demons...I mean, mass-spells and demon hunts and all that help wipe out a lot of them globally... Pace:: Can't we just summon a Demon and play with him? Pierce: Can't we just continue the break? Come on...they all stopped, who knows why, but we...you guys need to enjoy the freedom and work on targeting Normuck already... Price:: It's always Normuck...Normuck, Normuck, Normuck. Pierce: Well once we kill him it'll go back to unorganized Demons and crime until we can get rid of them all, for good and for Good. Pace:: I still say we summon a Demon. Price:: He looks to Pace and shakes his head:: Pierce: Remember what I told you guys about what Enrica said...I'm going to my room...I'll be up there if you need me. ::He stands up and slowly walks to the stairway:: Price:: Okay, we'll just be down here and... Pace:: Watch some television. Price:: I haven't done that in a while. Pace:: Same here, I wonder if it still works. Pierce: ::He tries to smile but sighs and walks up the stairs and into his bedroom:: Price:: He stands up:: He turns as he watches Pace stand up and he pushes him back down:: Pace:: He looks up and smiles:: So what are we going to do now? Price:: We're going to go to the kitchen and make a potion. A potion so strong that it could actually destroy half of the United States. Pace:: And why would we be doing that? Price:: To vanquish Normuck dude. Pace:: But isn't Billie the key to destroying him? Price:: True, but what if she can't? Pace:: True. Price:: So we make the potion. Pace:: But doesn't that mean we die also? Price:: Once the potion hits him we'll get out. Pace:: What if the potion doesn't vanquish him? Price:: Well it'll at least weaken him. Pace:: But he isn't solid. Price:: Oh...I forgot about that. ::A bright light appears around him; then shimmers away in the air; then begins again as he focuses more, and flies into him; knocking him back:: Pierce: ::He gasps and opens his eyes, suddenly realizing he's no longer in his bedroom:: Pierce: ::He looks around, realizing he's outside; he looks around and realizes he's in a park downtown:: Whoa... ::A boy cries out "Hey Dad, catch!" nearby:: Pierce: ::He instinctively turns and gets hit in the head with a frisbee and looks over, to see a boy, about 10 years of age, running towards him:: ...Adam? Adam: What happened to catching it, Dad? Pierce: ::He tilts his head, his mouth opened, unsure of what to say:: ...Uh...I'll be right back...uh...stay with your brother? Adam: ::He nods, and turns, looking to a boy playing in a large sandbox nearby:: Pierce: ::He turns and walks away from the scene, turning down the pathway; so that he can still see them, but far enough so that he won't be noticed:: Oh my God...the future? ::The wind blows gently:: Woman: "Didn't expect it like this, did you?" Pierce: Rachel? ::He turns, seeing a woman with brown hair; wearing a white dress, the sunlight shining on her from the trees around them:: Woman: Sorry, wrong answer. Pierce: Uh...who are you then? Woman: You know those people you meet that help you when you find yourself lost, Pierce? Oracles, Whitelighters, Angels? ...Well I'm not any of those, but I'm pretty damn close. Pierce: Right...excuse me... ::He turns around a tree and turns invisible, then turns back, staring to see if she notices he's not there:: Woman: Though I see you're in shock, you might want me to see you, so that I can help you with this. ::She smiles, glancing to the young boys in the distance:: Pierce: ::He comes back into color and shape; and looks directly at her:: I...was lying in my bed...and then I showed up here. Woman: "Here..."is your life after Rachel's death. Yeah, it was unexpected...well how it happened and everything...well actually it was expected...anyway, this is the progress ever since. Pierce: ...Adam, and Reese? Woman: Right. And your other wife, who is at work at the moment...over...there ::She points to a small coffee shop in the distance:: Pierce: ::He instinctively turns but stops, and looks back to her:: I can't forsee the future, why am I here? Woman: You're right; that's Pace's power. But as you've probably noticed, after great shock or whatnot, you, Pace, and Price have always been able to tap into each others powers before... Pierce: Right...how do I get back? Woman: Why would you want to? This is a lot better...no more Normuck, no more Demons to haunt you, it's a lot cleaner. Adam: Dad, I want Ice Cream! Pierce: ::He looks to Adam and waves slightly, then looks back to her:: Well I'd like to be there doing the cleaning...if you don't mind...and sorry, but I can't time travel; neither can Price or Pace... Woman: Pierce Pierce Pierce...don't you see? The Powers That Be are letting you, and only you, see your future...to lift your spirits up, I guess... Pierce: And who are you? Why are you here? Woman: I'm here to help-- Pierce: I've heard that too many times from women that look heavenly or defenseless; I don't need you sticking out any fangs at me, lady... Pierce: ...Heh. Woman: The point is...I'm here to help you right now, because your wife just died, and life still goes on; as it did when I died. Pierce: By the way, Nina still apologizes... Adam: Dad!!! Reese says he wants chocolate, but I want chocolate; and I don't want what he's gonna be having!!! Pierce: ::He looks over to them, smiling; almost laughing:: Samantha: Didn't think you'd be smiling so soon since Rachel's death, did you? And as another matter of fact; you do after all have to live through "the cleaning" as you put it...but before you let yourself go back to your present, know one thing. Pierce: Yes? Samantha: That boy right there; is like the key to everything in your life. And never let him go. A lot of things will happen, a lot of people will come and go, but your son, your sons, and your nephew and neice, will change the world far more than you and Price and Pace have. Pierce: ::He nods, seeing Adam walking towards them:: Samantha: Ready to go back? Pierce: Yeah...I think I am... Samantha: ::She kisses him on the cheek, and disappears as the wind blows, letting the sunlight shine through her as she disappears:: Adam: Where'd that lady go? ::He walks up to him; looking around the tree that blocked his view of her:: Pierce: ::He picks Adam up and smiles:: ...Oh off somewhere through time... ::He smiles as he hears Adam laugh a little and closes his eyes as he expects to look back to his son:: ::Suddenly the sound of birds, people, cars, everything stops... :: Pierce: ::He looks up, and sees himself in his bedroom, alone; with the sunlight shining through; he gets up and jumps out of the room, eager to get on with the day:: Carly: ::She walks up to the restaurant, and walks inside, walking past the crowded restaurant to the Workers' area, seeing Ethan orchestrating things through a headset and computer desk at standing level:: Hey... Dinner's at 7, right? At that new place by the shore and 7th? Ethan: Of course ::He kisses her again, this time putting his arms around her; suddenly now realizing that he doesn't have eternity with her...and enjoys the kiss, until he must let go:: See you at seven... Price:: He keeps his eyes focused on Pace:: Price:: He throws his hands as he freezes the Demon:: : Demon:: He looks over to Pace as he freezes:: Pace:: Takes a strong step forward as a force field flies out and knocks the Demon out of the freeze and onto the ground:: Demon:: He growls and stands up quickly:: Price:: He throws the potion at the same time as Pace:: <:: The potions hits the Demon and as it explodes the force sends Price and Pace flying back from the impact:: Price:: He hits the gate and falls onto his stomach:: : Pace:: He goes through the glass fountain and rolls onto the ground:: Price:: He looks up and gets up as he orbs to his brother:: Pace:: He sees the orbs as Price appears to help him up:: He looks over to where the Demon was and notices the huge hole:: Wow, looks like a boulder came in and knocked a hole through the ground. Price:: Yea, imagine that same potion except twenty times stronger. Pace:: He thinks and looks to Price:: Nope, can't imagine. Price:: Stupid. Pace:: So what now? Normuck:: Now you watch as your cousin is killed by me. <:: Price and Pace quickly look over to see Normuck's spirit along with two Demons:: One of the Demons holds Billie tight:: Price:: He raises his hands:: : Normuck:: No, no...if you do that then she'll also die. Pace:: Then he'll freeze you all. Normuck:: I can't freeze... Price:: Let her go. Pace:: He looks to Billie:: How could you get yourself caught? Pierce: ::He stands beside Pace, invisible; tapping him on the shoulder to know that he's there:: Normuck:: Oh, she didn't. She thought by summoning me and vanquishing me she wouldn't feel so guilty as in killing Rachel. Price:: What? Normuck:: Oh, you didn't know? Yea, she murdered Rachel, with the help of me. Pierce: ::He tightens his fists, suddenly struggling to stay invisible:: Pace... Pace:: He squints his eyes slightly and brushes the air to let Pierce know that he knows he's there:: Normuck:: Take her away. :: He smiles:: I'll see you all later, when I come to vanquish you. Price:: He watches as Normuck and the Demons along with Billie disappear:: Price:: No! :: As he screams the windows and door to the backyard blow into pieces:: We need to get her back! Pace:: He turns to face invisible Pierce:: Pierce... Pierce: ::He becomes visible suddenly; and looks to his brothers, not saying a word:: Pace:: He made her do it. Price:: We turns to look to Pierce:: Don't worry...we're going to vanquish him. Pace:: He looks to Price:: Plan? Pierce: I say we make another mass-Demon killing potion make another mass-Demon killing spell; and then go after Normuck; we need to weaken his forces and then him. Pace:: What? He has Billie, he could've killed her already, he could be solid by now. . Price:: No, he won't kill her just yet. What we need to do is rescue Billie. Pace:: And then what? Price:: And then we leave... Pace:: WHAT?! Price:: We can't stay here, he'll come for us with an army of Demons. Powerful Demons, we need to pack our belongings and get the hell out. Pace:: The school can protect us. Pierce: No it can't. Asia got through, remember? Price:: We're leaving, pack what you need. Pierce pack Adam's stuff and I'll pack Isaac's, they're going to stay with Natalie. I would say Grandpa Victor but I can't. We also need to put him up there also, for his own safety. Pace:: So we're going to run away? Price:: Yea, we're going to run away until we know how to defeat him. Pace:: Where are we going to go? Price:: We're not. We just need to get to the tribal grounds. there's this desert outside of Sunnydale, California. . Pace:: Great, we're going to Sunnydale. Price:: Pace, there's help there. Pace:: Yeah? Like what? Pierce: Ugh...like in that Buffy show... Price:: Guys! there's this old tribal ground where power is substained. We go there, and borrow the power. Pace:: Oh, it's that easy? Hey, sorry but we're going to have to use your power to vanquish the first evil made flesh that walked this Earth. Price:: He thinks for a second then smiles:: Exactly. No powers are to be used...we have enough potions to vanquish enough Demons. I have a feeling that if we use our powers we'll be easily spotted. Pace:: Yes, like Demons have tracers on the Charmed Ones powers. Pierce: They probably do--I'll alert all of the main magical forces, just to let them know we're planning something huge... Price:: Good, when we're done packing I'll summon Natalie to take the children and Victor. Then I'll find some type of vehicle that can hold our stuff and that we can live in for a couple of days. Price:: Then you both will go and save Billie, then you will meet me at the location I tell you two to meet me. Once you're at the location we'll go to the desert. Pierce: ::He looks to his brothers, nods, and looks to the Manor:: Let the object of objection become but a dream. Say the spell to thicken the air so that they can't leave along with you guys. Well, until the spell stops working. Pierce: We'll...be careful. Pace:: Yea, careful is my middle name. Pierce: I'm ready to get this all over with...get on with my life already. Pace:: Alright, so what's the plan? Pace:: We just go in there and get her and bounce? Or do we stay for a while and have fun? Pierce: Well...we have to plan this out carefully...I could go invisible...you could play with them a little...and I can get in there and get her out. Price:: I think ever since she vanquished Normuck, she's been a little bit more free. She also told me in a month she and Oxy are going to move in this one bedroom apartment over in Chicago. Pierce: Oh good, she and Oxy'll be just in time to make Ethan and Carly's wedding; they sure are rushing the process though, aren't they normally months and months of planning? Price:: Yes, but let them do what it takes to make them happy.
